Exercise

In my teens and early 20s I was in pretty good shape, I was athletic and I worked construction jobs that assisted in keeping me in shape. Also, I was young and I could eat whatever I wanted. In my mid-twenties, I started to make a little money so I could eat more delicious (aka bad for you) food, and it was a blast! I had a great time doing that, but my metabolism hit the breaks at age 25 and I packed on the lbs. So once I entered my late 20s I started making changes in my life to get back in shape. I didn’t want a quick fix or hardcore diet, I wanted to make changes that¬†would help me get in shape and stay healthy as I get older. So far I have been able to drop 20+ pounds, and feeling great. I’m by no means a health nut… red meat, craft beer, and pizza… Bring It On! Having said that, I’ve learned a few things over the past year have really helped me enjoy exercising, and food in moderation.

Cardio: Get that heart rate up!

Weight Lifting: Hans & Frans

Stretching: “Did you hear my elbow pop?!”

Diet: “I’ll take one of everything please”
