Georgia Seasonal Summer Craft Beers List

Georgia summer craft beers list

Today is the 1st day of Summer in the U.S., so I thought I’d make a post about some Local GA Summer Craft Beers.

Summer is here! And, in Georga, that means Cook Outs, Pool Days, and summer brews! (That sounds like a great Saturday!). It’s been a few posts since I talked about craft beer so I figured what better way to ring in the summer than to make a list of a few Summer Craft Beers available right now in GA. Georgia has over 60 breweries and brew pubs now and still growing! This list will not even come close to listing every summer beer available, but maybe that means I’ll have a follow-up post.

Seasonal Release Summer Craft Beers

  • Jekyll Brewing (Alpharetta, GA)
    • Big Creek Pear – Kolsch
      • IBUs: 24
      • SRM: 4
      • ABV: 5%
      • From the Brewery “If you’ve had our “Kolsch” style beer before, embrace this unique version infused with pear. Our Kolsch has hints of pear from the unique yeast so we paired it with pear to give you a truly refreshing warm weather brew.” Learn More Here
  • Southbound Brewing (Savannah, GA)
    • Transilience – Berliner Weissbier
      • IBUs: 3
      • SRM: 2
      • ABV: 7%
      • From the Brewery ” Lactobacillus and saccharomyces create this light, acidic, and tart summer heat quencher. Fresh mango and pomegranate add delicate fruit flavors to the unusually high gravity Berliner Weisse. Transilience’s crips and dry finish prove perfect” Learn More Here
  • Creature Comforts (Athens, GA)
    • Automatic – Pale Ale
      • ABV 5.2%
      • From the Brewery “Automatic is meant to be light, refreshing and quite drinkable without falling into the common pitfall of ending up too thin, watery or insipid. No color malts were used, however, the relatively full mouthfeel is enough to support this heavily hopped beer.” Learn More Here
  • Second Self (Atlanta, GA)
    • MIG: Margarita in Gose
      • IBUs: 8
      • ABV 4.3%
      • From the Brewery “This beer takes our traditional gose to a whole new level. We use organic orange peels from Florida and freshly squeezed lime juice to give it the sweet-tart taste of the classic cocktail. We’ve also upped the salt slightly to pair nicely with the citrus. Learn More Here
  • Southern Sky (Kennesaw, GA)
    • Pink Flamingo – Imperial Pale Ale
      • IBUs: 55
      • ABV 7.2%
      • From the Brewery “An Imperial Pale Ale with Citra hops and mango. It has a tropical fruit flavor, and a bite from both the hops and the mango.” Learn More Here
  • Printer’s Ale (Carrollton, GA)
    • Gutenberg Gose with Hibiscus and Green Tea
      • IBUs: 7
      • SRM: 3
      • ABV: 4.7%
      • From the Brewery “A refreshing, tart/sour German wheat beer with a slightly salty finish. Our gose has a beautiful pink hue from the addition of hibiscus flowers and some citrus notes from the addition of lime peel.” Learn More Here
