One of the most prolific and creative comedians of the late 1900s and early 2000s. I remember listening to his albums (CDs) when I was young and watching his specials on TV as I got older. He made you think for yourself and question the world, which we should all do in our own lives more often. His view of the world was cynical at times, but he seemed to me to have an underlying message of hope and strength for our society, and what we could achieve if we worked hard. RIP Carlin.
